No plans to limit grain exports

MOSCOW, September 5 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian government does not consider limits on grain exports from Russia in 2014/15, Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich told Itar-Tass. “It is not on the agenda,” he said. The government does not plan to impose restrictions and adheres to market principles to regulate the grain market, including by interventions, Dvorkovich said. “The harvest is good this year. The export potential is on a high level as well. Of course, monitoring of grain exports will continue at least weekly,” he added. Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov’s letter said about monitoring, but there were no proposals to limit exports, Dvorkovich said, referring to a letter about which some media reported.
