NOMADIC ELEPHANT 2018 RUNNING AT TAVAN TOLGOI

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 'Nomadic Elephant 2018' the joint military exercise between Mongolian and Indian armies kicked off on September 10 at Tavan Tolgoi military training field. At the opening ceremony, Indian contingent was represented by the 17th biathlon of the Punjab regiment and Mongolian contingent was represented by the 084th military unit. During 12-days training, it indicates how the two countries are improving its tactical and technical skills in counter-terrorist operations in rural and urban situations under UN mandate. Sides will jointly plan and execute well-developed tactical drills for neutralizing possible threats during the war. Furthermore, bilateral experts will hold discussions on mutually interested issues to share experience.
