NU-Q Appoints Two Senior Executives

Doha, January 08 (QNA) - Northwestern University in Qatar has added two seasoned executives to its leadership team, with Kathryn B. Symank and Paul F. Reilly joining as chief operations officer and director of media strategy, marketing and communication, respectively. The appointments come at a time when the university is experiencing significant growth, as evidenced by increasing enrollment, research activities and the construction of its new building, a press statement by the institution said Wednesday. NU-Q was founded in 2008 by parent organization Northwestern University in Illinois, USA in partnership with Qatar Foundation. It draws on Northwestern University's distinguished schools of communication, journalism, and liberal arts to educate students for leadership positions in the rapidly evolving global media industry. As part of its active role in the development of a 21st century knowledge-based economy in Qatar, NU-Q engages in research, thought leadership, and service relevant to Qatar, the Middle East, and the global community.
