Number of Iranian cinema goers up in 4 months

Tehran, July 25, IRNA - The statics indicates a remarkable increase in number of the cinema audiences during the first four months of current Iranian calendar year (starting March 21, 2018) compared to the same period the previous year, an official said. As per Iran Organization of Cinema report, the deputy of Technology Development and Cinema Studies Department noted that the box office has hit over 103 billion Rials, showing 40 percent increase compared to the same period the previous year. Masoud Arbabi added that the number of moviegoers has reached 11,951,392 persons, increasing 6.34 percent in comparison with the same period last year.
