Nusantara Pelabuhan Listed On BEI, The First In 2017

JAKARTA, March 17 (Antara) - PT Nusantara Pelabuhan Handal Tbk, which operates in general trade, loading and unloading and port services has been listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) making it the first listed on the stock market this year. BEI President Director Tito Sulistio said with the listing of PT Nusantara Pelabuhan Handal using the trading code of PORT, the capitalization of the stock market rose to Rp5,895.773 trillion "The capitalization value of PORT reaches Rp1.509 trillion. I am confident companies operating in port infrastructure would attract investors," Tito said here on Thursday. PT Nusantara Pelabuhan Handal floated shares worth 20.5 percent of its its paid up capital after the initial public offering (IPO). Company President Director Paul Krisnadi said the fund raised from the share sales reached Rp308.619 billion. "Around 35 percent of the fund would be used as a working capital and the rest is to repay debt to PT Episenta Utama Investasi," he said. He said he was confident with the selling of the shares to the public the company could support the government in its program to develop the maritime sector. He said the company's target for income this year is set to grow 10 percent from last year . In the first nine months of last year, the company's income was recorded at Rp815 billion.
