OFDPM announces successful candidates for fourth intake of FDPM Fellowship

Manama, May 30 (BNA): The Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister (OFDPM) today announced the names of the 15 successful candidates for the FDPM Fellowship’s fourth intake. The successful candidates are drawn from various government entities. The candidates, who were selected following a rigorous screening and evaluation process, are: 1. Ayman Fuad Al Ansari – Information and eGovernment Authority 2. Ayman Yousif Salman – Ministry of Education 3. Shaikh Hassan bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa – Labour Fund Tamkeen 4. Khalid Fahad Al Alawi – Labour Fund Tamkeen 5. Rahab Abdulrahman Al Abbasi – Ministry of Foreign Affairs 6. Sufyan Ebrahim Al Hashil – National Audit Office 7. Fatima Abdulhameed Al Awadhi – Electricity and Water Authority 8. Fahad Ahmed Al Doseri – Ministry of Foreign Affairs 9. Maryam Al Noaimi – University of Bahrain 10. Maryam Mohammed Mahmood – Tatweer Petroleum 11. Mashael Qetami Al Qetami – Ombudsman Office at the Ministry of Interior 12. Noor Riyadh Dhaif – Ministry of Health 13. Noora Mohammed Al Mutawa – Prime Minister’s Court 14. Hanna Ghazi Al Shakar – Ministry of Health 15. Wael Ali Al Baqer – Central Bank of Bahrain The successful candidates will be seconded to the FDPM Fellowship, which, through various training programmes and initiatives, aims to enhance their skills and provide a strong foundation for their careers in government. Candidates shall return to their place of work once the programme concludes in May 2019. HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Director General of the OFDPM, extended his congratulations to the successful candidates, who were selected from a large pool of applicants, noting that the success of the fellowship is evidenced in the skills and expertise showcased by previous intakes. HE Shaikh Salman praised the enthusiastic response that the programme received this year, noting that the high numbers of applicants reflects the programme’s value in developing the skill sets and leadership skills of young government employees, in line with HRH the Crown Prince’s vision. HE Shaikh Salman wished the new intake luck and expressed his hope that the candidates would capitalise on the many opportunities facilitated by the programme in order to boost their skill sets and help achieve their personal goals and ambitions.
