In this regard, Shaikh Salman emphasised the commitment of the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in supporting the advancement of women's contributions and opportunities, including education, employment and social issues. Shaikh Salman went on to highlight the significant role played by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), in driving forward the empowerment of women across the social, economic, and political spheres in Bahrain. On the role of women in Bahrain, Shaikh Salman noted that the increasing number of Bahraini women entering the labour market is a key demonstration of the Kingdom’s long-standing commitment to fostering viable and equal opportunities for its citizens.
