Office of the Prosecutor General, Ministry of Internal Affairs and State Security Service release another statement on Ganja events

Baku, July 11, AZERTAC Two police officers were killed after being hit by blunt instruments and cutting and stubbing weapons by a group of radical religious persons who attempted to brutally disturb public order in the city of Ganja on July 10. In a joint statement, the Office of the Prosecutor General, Ministry of Internal Affairs and State Security Service said that public order in Ganja was fully restored as a result of the immediately taken measures and that stability and security is reliably maintained throughout the country. According to the statement, measures are being continued to locate and arrest two suspects who were identified as Ganja residents Rashad Mammadali oglu Boyukkishiyev, born in 1988, who was previously convicted for premeditated murder and robbery, and Farrukh Khagani oglu Gasimov, born in 1988. “We appeal to our citizens who possess any information on whereabouts of these persons to report by calling “102” Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and dialing (012) 590-93-31; (012) 590-94-31; (012) 492-73-96 numbers in Baku and (012) 590-61-14; (012) 590-61-15; 256-07-73; 256-75-09 numbers in Ganja,” the statement said.
