Official: Europe political commitment to save JCPOA strong

Tehran, Aug 13, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for political affairs Abbas Araqchi underlined that Europe's political commitment to preserve Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is still strong. He made the remarks in his Instagram page after holding a meeting with European states' ambassadors to Iran. Araqchi wrote talks for reaching operational solutions is continuing. Following exit of the US from JCPOA, the EU and the European officials have repeatedly underlined the need to preserve nuclear deal with Iran. Partners in JCPOA, minus US, have offered a package for Iran to maintain nuclear deal, which provides Iranian economic interests after departure of the US from JCPOA and imposing sanctions against Iran.
