Officials Present Qatar's Experience in Labor Dispute Settlement in Special Seminar in London

London, July 11 (QNA) - The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs and the Supreme Judicial Council participated in a seminar on labor dispute settlement, organized by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), in London on Wednesday. During the seminar, held at the British Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (Acas), the Qatari officials presented the experience of the State of Qatar in labor dispute settlement committees and the mechanisms of dealing with them. The attendees reviewed the outstanding experiences of the participating countries, and learned about the best practices in the settlement and resolution of labor disputes and the exchange of experiences in this field. The seminar was attended by specialists from labor dispute settlement bodies and institutions in the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa and Australia, in the presence of representatives of international organizations concerned with workers' affairs from around the world.
