OIC condemns East Eker terror bombing

Jeddah, July 1 (BNA): The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the terror bombing which took place in East Eker, killing a Bahraini woman and wounding three children. In a press statement issued today, OIC Secretary-General, Iyad Madani strongly condemned the terror act, reiterating OIC’s firm stance in support of Bahrain’s unity, security and stability, as well as non-interference in its domestic affairs. He underlined OIC’s support to the efforts made by Bahrain to maintain security and stability nationwide. OIC chief extended condolences to the victim’s relatives, and wished the wounded speedy recovery. He expressed confidence in the ability of the Government to bring the perpetrators to justice. He renewed OIC’s principled stance which condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
