OIC condemns Karanah terror bombing

Jeddah, Aug.30 (BNA): The Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, strongly condemned the terrorist bombing in Karanah, north of Manama, in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Thursday 28/8/2015 in which a security official was killed and 17 persons, including a child, were injured. The Secretary General reiterated the support of the OIC for the unity of Bahrain, the safety of its citizens, for Kingdom’s territorial integrity, and for all the measures taken to enthrone security and stability in the Kingdom. The Secretary General recalled the principled position of the OIC which condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and emphasized the need for concerted efforts by the international community to defeat terror and terrorists.
