Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Meets HE Dr. Al Kuwari

Muscat, May 04 (QNA) - Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, met here on Wednesday with HE Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari, Advisor at the Emiri Diwan and Qatar's Candidate to the Post of the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The Omani Minister welcomed during the meeting the nomination of the State of Qatar of Dr. Al Kuwari for the post of UNESCO Director-General, stressing his country's support for this nomination. The meeting came in the framework of a visit by HE Dr. Al Kuwari to the Sultanate of Oman within his election campaign in which he is visiting a number of Arab and foreign countries to explain his election program. Dr. Al Kuwari is scheduled to meet later with a number of Omani officials within his visit. (QNA
