Ombudsman receives US delegation

Manama, May 3 (BNA): Nawaf Mohammed Al-Ma'awda of the Ombudsman Office today received a delegation of the US Senate staff to learn about responsibilities of the Ombudsman Office and their role in bolstering human rights in Bahrain. Al-Ma'awda gave an overview of the Ombudsman's responsibilities and mechanisms of action in receiving complaints and controlling correction and detention centers.
