One killed as fire destroys community in Bangkok

BANGKOK, April 24 (TNA) - A person was killed and another was injured and about 30 houses were destroyed by a fire razing a crowded community here late Monday night. Over 10 fire engines took half an hour to put out the blaze at the Phraram Kao Community on Rama III Road in the capital. The fire was initially attributed to a short circuit, as some locals had heard an explosion before the fire broke out and quickly expanded in the community. (TNA)
