One killed in tollway crash

BANGKOK, March 27 (TNA) - One people fell off an elevated tollway and died after a pick-up truck carrying migrant workers crashed into the tollway barrier here today. The Toyota pick-up truck lost its control and crashed into the barrier of the Don Muang tollway, after a rear tyre exploded, ripping off the roof of the vehicle and throwing out a passenger, a male migrant worker, onto the Vibhavadi Ransit Road, who died instantly. The death victim was identified as 40-year-old Saiyut. The accident took place in front of the head office of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), the national flag carrier. Police are questioning the driver of the vehicle into the cause of the fatal accident. (TNA)
