Online Registration for Milipol Qatar 2014 Opens

Doha, July 20 (QNA) - Milipol Qatar Committee Sunday opened online registration for delegates seeking to participate in the 10th edition of Milipol Qatar 2014. Doha will host the exhibition of internal security devices from October 20 to 22 later this year, the Ministry of Interior's (MoI) public relations department said in a media statement today. Participants can visit www.mybadgeonline.com/milipolqatar2014 to register online and ensure their access to the exhibition, the MoI said. Top decision-makers, security officials, VIPs, general visitors and media will participate in the expo which offers the latest innovations, developments and trends on internal state security. The expo will focus on safety and security of data from various field like communications systems, economic, financial and industries. Other important areas include integration of systems, risk management and analysis, countering chemical, biochemical and nuclear terrorism, forensic science services, law on counterterrorism, industrial sites, fight against organized crime and securing public and urban places. Security of infrastructure like seaports, airports, border control, roads, oil and gas sector assets and prisons will be covered, the MoI said. Qatar Ministry of Interior and Comexposium Security in Paris are organising Milipol Qatar. Milipol Qatar Committee Chairman Brigadier Nasser bin Fahad Al-Thani urged participants and organisations to register early to avoid congestion and avail permits and identity badges. The organisers have completed preparations and organizational work as per the action plans prepared in 2012, he said and added, "the committee has visited several international security exhibitions to promote and popularize Milipol Qatar".
