Organizers of 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum discuss preparations in Czechia and Malta

Baku, March 20 (AzerTAc). The organizers of the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum, which will take place in Baku next month, have conducted discussions in the Czech Republic and Malta about the preparations for the event. The discussions were held with former Czech president Vaclav Klaus and former Maltese prime minister Lawrence Gonzi. In 2013, the Nizami Ganjavi International Center and the Club de Madrid, with the support of the Azerbaijan State Committee for Diaspora Affairs and the Library of Alexandria hosted a High Level Preparatory Meeting to start the preparations for the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum. Participants of the High-Level Meeting included Vaira Vike-Freiberga, former President of Latvia, Ismail Serageldin, Director Library of Alexandria, Wim Kok, former Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Tarja Halonen, former President of Finland, Jennifer M. Shipley, former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jorge Quiroga, former President of Bolivia, Chandrika Kumaratunga, former President of Sri Lanka, and Petar Stoyanov, former President of Bulgaria. The 2nd Forum will bring together leaders, Nobel Prize winners, public figures and scholars from more than 40 countries.
