Our folk group "Khosogton" gives performance in Singapore

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian folk group "Khosogton" has participated in the "Voices-A Festival of Song" international event for the first time. It ran at "Esplanade" theatre of the Republic of Singapore December 14-15. The group performed a unique throat-singing and an art of playing on various national musical instruments. After this, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to this country B.Delgermaa congratulated the group for their great concert. Then the Embassy gave the musicians a banquet. The concert has been a part of works Mongolia's Embassy is running to promote Mongolian art to Singapore. The group has been awarded the Grands Prix from the "International Symposium of Throat Singing" and "Breath of the Earth" international festival of throat-singing in Russian Ulan-Ude, also has a gold medal for a cappella type at Art Olympics which ran in Jeju of South Korea.
