Over 511,000 Thai Candidates Sit For Vacant Post Exam

BANGKOK, April 27 (TNA) - A total of 511,375 Thai people on Sunday sat for examination being held nationwide for vacant posts at the Interior Ministry’s Local Administration Department. Those who have successfully passed the exam and get the job must be considered lucky because only 7,445 positions are available for grabs. Caretaker Deputy Interior Minister Pracha Prasobdee said while observing examination rooms at two universities in Bangkok earlier in the day that crippled persons are also allowed to sit for the examination which is organised the same day in 30 provinces throughout Thailand . A total of 378 examination sites are provided. Officials supervising the exam are ordered to thoroughly search those sitting the examination while all communication accessories are not allowed to be carried into the examination room. Mr. Pracha reiterated that the examination would be clean and fair for all the applicants. (TNA)
