Over 5,200 vehicles seized during past four days

BANGKOK, April 16 (TNA) - More than 5,200 vehicles have been temporarily seized by authorities during the past four days while their owners have been charged with drunken driving. National Council for Peace and Order deputy spokeswoman Sirichan Ngathong spokeswoman of National Council for Peace and Order said almost 3,969 motorcycles and about 1,243 cars were seized between April 12 – 15 nationwide. The statistics were reported as Songkran revellers are returning to Bangkok after celebration with their family members ended. Meanwhile, Mo Chit Bus Terminal in Bangkok has been hectic since early Sunday due to a large amount of passengers, arriving in the capital from upcountry. The Transport Co., Ltd., the operator of the inter-provincial bus service has projected that over 115,929 passengers would return to Bangkok today. (TNA)
