Owning A Scientific Plan and Vision Constitutes One of Most Important Qualities of A Successful Leader

Doha ,November 29 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council (SEC) Mohammed bin Abdul Wahid Al Hammadi said that owning a scientific plan and vision to achieve the objective constitutes one of the most important qualities of a successful strategic leader in the world of today, along with the ability of the leader to make the strategic change through that vision. The leader should be both flexible, responsive and influential in surrounding factors and circumstances to adapt them for his interest, the Minister said enumerating the elements of a successful strategic leadership in determining strategic direction, effective management of resources, preservation of institutional culture and focus on professional , ethical and behavioral practices with the ability to take a strategic fateful decision at the right time. This came in a lecture, Al Hammadi gave at the first gathering of the Educational Empowerment Initiative entitled "Effective Strategic Leadership", organized by SEC Training and Educational Development Center SEC at Ibn Khaldoun Preparatory Independent School for Boys. The gathering was attended by HE the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Rabea Mohammed Al Kaabi and a number of offices managers at the SEC along with 210 new license holders , administrators and curriculum coordinators and schools principals.
