Palestinian nation, seasoned in struggle: Sarmadi

Tehran, Feb 27, IRNA – A senior Iranian diplomat says the Palestinian nation has already acquired a long experience in its combat against the Zionist regime, having devised various ways to remove the occupation and restore its rights. Deputy Foreign Minister, Morteza Sarmadi speaking to qodsna.com, said nationalistic ways of struggle have ended up in failure in the Palestinian issue as they were unable to unify the Palestinian people around a single axis or attract the support of the Muslim community or the rest of free men in the world. “At present however the nation considers it as a duty to keep the track and believes its struggle is a legitimate, human one,” Sarmadi added, referring to the Palestinian nation’s Islamic struggle. The senior diplomat said the Palestinian cause has turned into a common cause among the world nations, adding that the developments have brought positive outcomes for the Palestinian issue. The deputy foreign minister said the Zionist regime can no longer take the world public opinion for granted rather it has to find ways to deceive it over the Palestinian developments.
