Panda Lin Ping may return to Thailand with her twins

CHIANG MAI, Jan 24 (TNA) -- The China Wildlife Conservation Association's representatives visited the Thai northern Chiang Mai Zoo and express their sincerest thanks to the caretaker team for their excellent job in taking care of the giant pandas, while revealing that the Chinese government might be sending back Lin Ping to Thailand along with her twin cubs. Director of the Chiang Mai Zoo Niphon Wichairat said the recent visit by the delegation of the China Wildlife Conservation Association to follow up panda research project in Thailand and They had visited both goodwill ambassadors, Chuang Chuang and Lin Hui at their enclosure and expressed great satisfaction and gratitude to Thailand for taking good care of the pandas. Mr Niphon said an informal talk with the officials from the China Wildlife Conservation Association hinted at Thailand may also be able to take care of Lin Ping, a panda cub born from the mother Lin Hui and her new born twin cubs since the Thai people is so in love with the pandas and have been taking such a good care of them. Lin Ping, the first female panda born in Chiang Mai Zoo and sent back to China on September 28, 2013, delivered her babies at Ya An Panda Conservation and Research on July 27, 2015. Nonetheless, he added the final decision lies on both the Thai and Chinese governments on how they would seal the deal. (TNA)
