Panmunjom Declaration Supported by Kuwaiti Organization

Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- The Kuwaiti Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification issued a statement on May 21 in support of the historic Panmunjom Declaration. The statement said that the third inter-Korean summit was made in April and the "Panmunjom Declaration on Peace, Prosperity and Reunification of Korean Peninsula" was adopted. It went on: The world progressives welcome the Panmunjom Declaration reflecting the will of all Koreans to defuse the tension on the Korean Peninsula and live in a reunified country, enjoying peace and prosperity. But the U.S. is persisting in the demeanors extremely rattling the nerves of the DPRK, keeping mum about the abandonment of its hostile policy toward the DPRK. The U.S. and the south Korean authorities should no longer throw a wet blanket over the hard-won atmosphere of dialogue for peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula.
