PARLIAMENT ANNULS POST OF FIRST DEPUTY PREMIER

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On January morning session of plenary meeting, parliament approved a draft resolution of parliament on reforming the government's composition. Eighty percent, or 44 out of 55 MPs have voted "for", annulling thus the post of first deputy premier of Mongolia. It means that authority over the Unfair Competition Regulatory Authority and the Center of Standardization and Measurement has been transmitted to the Deputy Premier, and the Intellectual Property Office and the General Authority for State Registration activities--to the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs.
