PARLIAMENTARIANS ATTEND EXHIBITION OPENING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian and Japanese calligraphy exhibition named "The sky and sun partnership" opened on Wednesday. It has been dedicated to the 40th anniversary of cultural relations between Mongolia and Japan. Attaching an importance to this event, several officials came to the opening such as D.Erdenebat, a head of the parliamentary faction of the Democratic Party and leader of the Mongolia-Japan parliamentary group; Ministers Ts.Oyungerel and L.Gantumur; L.Bold, the Foreign minister; and Su.Batbold, S.Odontuya, M.Batchimeg and B.Garamgaibaatar MPs, as well as delegates of Japan-Mongolia parliamentary group of Japan parliament. According to action's organizers, the exhibition also shows creations of political figures such as the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj, the PM N.Altankhuyag, and Shinzo Abe, the PM of Japan. The exhibition includes over 100 calligraphy pieces that feature the ties between the two countries and beauty of the Mongolian and Japanese scripts. This exhibition is to open in Japan this November.
