A parliamentary Delegation Heads to Istanbul to Attend a Conference of Islamic Parliaments

BAGHDAD / NINA / parliamentary delegation headed by a member of the Presidency of the Council Humam Hamoudi arrived in the Turkish city of Istanbul to participate in the Islamic parliaments Conference. A media statement by the Office of Hamoudi cited that "the conference will discuss a number of issues concerning the Parliamentary side between the countries members of the Union of Islamic parliaments, as well as to discuss cooperation between the parliaments participating in the conference as well as the financial crisis and its repercussions on the region.". The statement added, "The delegation includes members of the council, Khalid al-Asadi, Ibrahim Bahr al-Ulum, Mohammed Abbas Salman, Abd al-Rahim al-Shammari, Bahar Sulaiman and Faraj Basil."/ End
