Parliamentary Foreign Affairs: Kidnapping Turkish Workers Will Not Affect The Relationship Between The Two Countries

BAGHDAD / NINA/ The parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations confirmed that "the kidnapping of the Turkish workers is criminal process and can not affect the depth of the relationship between Iraq and Turkey." The Chairman of the Committee, Hassan Shwayrid denounced, in a press release, the kidnapping process of the Turkish workers in Baghdad, calling on the Iraqi government to take urgent action to uncover the kidnappers. He added that "the depth of relations between the two countries is greater than be affected by this criminal process." It is mentioned that unidentified gunmen, on last Wednesday, abducted 18 Turkish workers working in a Turkish company implementing a sports stadium in eastern Baghdad's Sadr City. /End
