Parties of Sudanese National Unity Support Doha Peace Agreement

Khartoum, May 31 (QNA) - Parties of Government of National Unity in Sudan has announced its full support to Darfur Peace Agreement signed in Doha as being the basis of the peace process that settled real stability in Darfur, leading to its development and reconstruction. The Secretary General of National Parties Council Aboud Jabir Saeed said in his remarks that the Doha Agreement deserves support and assistance by everyone since it has been internationally and regionally supported. He added that the council, which includes more than seventy three parties and movements, and signed peace agreements with the Sudanese government, highly appreciates and commends the efforts of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani for supporting the peace, security and stability in Darfur and Sudan, which has been positively reflected on the ground, giving a strong impetus to continue the achievements. He expected that the peace process in Darfur would carry on in accelerated progress for executing development projects that will improve the country's situation for better upgrade. (QNA)
