PEA Governor Sermsakul Klaikaew confirmed the PEA's readiness on Wednesday, assessing that at least 10,000 PEA employees from all provincial areas would also participate in the event. Sermsakul stressed that PEA has prepared equipment and backup power generators to handle any sudden electricity disruption, elaborating that the backup generators will be placed at registration desks, starting points and finish lines, as well as along all the routes of the upcoming "Bike for Dad" nationwide cycling event. Besides, PEA will set up a command centre to provide immediate assistance and support in case of any emergency. According to the PEA chief, he, himself, will lead a team of PEA executives to join the "Bike for Dad" event at the PEA headquarters in Bangkok's Bang Khen area on December 11. The December 11 "Bike for Dad" event will be organised simultaneously in the capital and all other Thai regions to celebrate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 88th birthday on December 5, 2015.
