PEACEKEEPERS AWARDED STATE PRIZES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A ceremony took place Saturday to award Mongolian peacekeepers who served in the Republic of South Sudan. The second part of our UN-mandated peacekeepers served there from March to November within the United Nations Mission. Ts.Elbegdorj, the President of Mongolia and Commander-in-Chief of Mongolia's Armed Forces, gave the Order of Military Merit to D.Enkhjargal, a deputy commander of the #150 military unit and other four officers. The Honorary Military Medal went to 29 officers and servicemen, and the Medal for Peace--to six troops.
