Persian-language courses resume in the Philippines

Kuala Lumpur, Nov 18, IRNA – The Philippines has restarted its Persian-language courses after a few years of gap. The courses have started in Iran’s cultural attaché office in the capital city of Manila, the office announced Tuesday. The new language courses started with only seven students. However when the news was released more people were keen to attend them. During the class, Iran’s cultural attaché in Philippines Kiumars Amiri described to the students on the features of the Persian language and the values of learning it. He added that Persian-language is one of the most significant Islamic languages. The University of the Philippines (UP) has held dozens of Persian-language courses during the previous years./end
