Peshawar School Attack Act Of Supra-Extremism - Envoy

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 (Bernama) -- Pakistan High Commissioner to Malaysia Syed Hassan Raza has described the Peshawar terrorist attack as an act of supra-extremism that has stabbed the heart of humanity. Having said that, he said that tragic incident, which killed over 100 children and staff from an army-run school had brought anger and sadness to people around the world, including Malaysians "This incident has not only touched the heart of the Pakistanis. They are repulsed because people who make children as victims of their anger are sick," he said. Syed Hassan was speaking to reporters after attending a prayer and candle-light vigil for the victims at the Pakistan High Commission compound here Friday. The event was organised by the high commission to help the Pakistani community in Malaysia to express themselves and stand united through this difficult time. It saw some 200 people gathered in a sombre mood, with a representative from the community reciting the Koran.
