PHCC to Participate in GCC School Health Day

Doha, September 29 (QNA) - The Primary Health Care Corporation ( PHCC) is set to take part with the Gulf School Health Committee of the Executive Board of Health Ministers' Council for GCC states in celebrations marking the GCC school health day and health of adolescents and youngsters. The GCC School Health Day, which falls on Tuesday is held under the slogan: " Promoting physical activity among students, adolescents and youngsters" The GCC Health Day celebration focuses on the promotion of a healthy lifestyle for students, raising the levels of their regular physical activity and on increasing awareness of the importance of a regular physical activity and its positive impacts on Health. The PHCC has prepared a number of activities, events and awareness lectures for students, which highlights the importance of physical activity in maintaining health and adopting healthy lifestyles.(QNA)
