PHCC Receives Accreditation - Platinum from Accreditation Canada International

Doha, June 10 (QNA) - Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has achieved accreditation by Accreditation Canada International at the Platinum level. Accreditation Canada International has three accreditation levels: Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. These accreditation levels allow flexibility to adapt the program to different settings, build capacity, and provide international clients with a tailored, step-by-step approach to accreditation and quality improvement. Announcing the achievement Tuesday at a press conference, Dr Mariam A. Malik said, "It is my pleasure and honor to announce to you that our corporation (PHCC), with all its health centers has successfully achieved accreditation by Accreditation Canada International at the Platinum level." "This outstanding achievement comes as a translation of the concerted efforts by everyone and is evidence that hard and sincere work is a sure path to achieve success and excellence. We have now to continue this path and always seek more progress and excellence to achieve the vision of Qatar," she added. The PHCC's vision is to advance health and well-being through primary health care services which are comprehensive, integrated, person-centered and affordable. (QNA)
