Philippine delegation to visit Iran to explore trade opportunities after sanctions

Kuala Lumpur, July 16, IRNA – Gregory L. Domingo, the current Philippine Secretary of Trade and Industry, said on Thursday that Philippine is going to send an economic delegation to Iran soon to receive first hand account of trade opportunities in Iran in the post-sanction era. While congratulating Iranian Ambassador to Manila, Ali-Asghar Mohammadi, on Joint Comprehensie Plan of Action (JCPOA), that was reached with the world major powers, Domingo hoped that lifting of international sactions will prepare suitable conditions for expansion of relations between Iran and Philippine. He said the Philippine delegation will during its Iran visit survey areas of mutual cooperation in the post-sanction era.
