Plane Skids Off Runway In Kerman, 7 Passengers Injured

Kerman, Sept 24, IRNA – Director of Crisis Management Office Mohsen Salehi said in Kerman on Monday that as a plane carrying Hajj pilgrims skidded off the runway, seven people were injured. Salehi told IRNA that the plane derailed the runway due to technical reasons. He said the injured were transferred to a local hospital but fortunately none of them are in serious condition. He added that the plane did not belong to Iran and undoubtedly, a technical failure had caused the incident. He said that investigations are underway to find out the cause of the incident./end
