PM Calls On Malaysians To Raise The National Flag

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Najib Razak has called on Malaysians to raise the Jalur Gemilang (national flag) in conjunction with the 2015 National Day celebration on Monday. In his latest posting in the social website, Facebook, Najib urged the people to put aside their differences and not to politicise the National Day which was a historical day for the country. "August 31 is the day where we all celebrate the national independence, the most meaningful day in the history or our country. "Put aside our differences, don't politicise this historic day. We fly the Jalur Gemilang together!" he said. -- BERNAMA
