PM Erdogan in stable condition following Saturday's surgery, says Deputy PM Arinc

ISTANBUL (A.A) - November 30, 2011 - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said Wednesday that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was in a stable condition following a surgery he underwent in his digestive system on Saturday. Mr. Prime Minister is resting in his home, Erdogan is in a stable condition and will return to his duties soon, Arinc told reporters in Istanbul. Deputy Chairperson of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party, Huseyin Celik, also commented on Erdogan's health on Wednesday saying "he is in a good condition. There is absolutely nothing to worry about Mr. Prime Minister's health". "Erdogan's surgery was a planned one. We believe he will return to his duties very soon," Celik noted.
