PM invites concerned parties to solve political problems

BANGKOK, August 3 (TNA) - In an attempt to find a solution to domestic political issues, Thai Prime Minister and Defence Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has invited every concerned party to a brainstorming session to be held soon. Yingluck said during her weekly TV and radio programme on Saturday (Aug 3) morning that the idea on the proposed brainstorming session is her government policy, aimed to create reconciliation in the country. According to the prime minister, she has appointed Deputy Prime Minister Phongthep Thepkanjana and Minister Attached to the Prime Minister's Office and Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Varathep Ratanakorn to be responsible for inviting representatives of these parties to meet at the Government House. Initially, the prime minister acknowledged, 50-100 people are expected to attend the session, and that the government will not intervene in seeking ways of their talks. (TNA)
