PM Najib Receives Courtesy Call From Indon Ministers

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak on Thursday received courtesy call from two Indonesian ministers at the Putra World Trade Centre. They were Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Mineral Resources, Dr Rizal Ramli; and, National Development Planning Minister Dr Sofyan A. Djalil. Also present at the one-hour meeting were Minister of International Trade and Industry, Mustapa Mohamed; Rural and Regional Development Minister, Ismail Sabri Yaakob; Minister Of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Amar Douglas Uggah Embas; and, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Razali Ibrahim. Mustapa, when met by reporters, said the meeting discussed and agreed to explore new measures to further improve cooperation in the palm oil industry in light of the current global economic development. The two ministers conveyed Indonesian President Joko Widodo's message to Najib that Indonesia and Malaysia needed to promote cross-border investments of the development of palm oil industry, he said. --BERNAMA
