PM won’t reshuffle Cabinet

BANGKOK, October 5 (TNA) - Dismissing reports that Thai Prime Minister YingluckShinawatra would reshuffle her Cabinet soon, the ruling Puea Thai Party says the prime minister is unlikely to make any new Cabinet change at least for the time being. Puea Thai Party Deputy Spokesman Anusorn Eiamsa-ard told reporters on Saturday that the previous Cabinet reshuffle was only about three months ago and there is no political reason for the prime minister to reshuffle the Cabinet now. Anusorn said, however, that a fresh reshuffle would be made in the future because the government still has almost two years left to administer the country. Praising the Constitution Court for approving the government’s 2014 budget bill, the Pheu Thai deputy spokesman noted that the government would seek His Majesty King Bhumibo lAdulyadej's endorsement of the 2014 budget bill in a royal command as soon as possible. Bangkok's Constitution Court on Friday voted unanimously in favour of the bill, after opposition MPs and some senators earlier lodged a petition against budget allocations to three independent agencies.
