PM:Mobile Cabinet meeting will be held in Songkhla Nov 29-30

BANGKOK, November 19 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister and Defence Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has confirmed that a mobile Cabinet meeting will be held in Songkhla province on November 29-30 as scheduled, despite, probably, an anti-government whittle-blowing in the southern province. Speaking to reporters at Bangkok's Government House before the weekly Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Yingluck said that there will be no rescheduling of the mobile Cabinet meeting in Songkhla late this month. The prime minister insisted that she is not discouraged or worried over, probably, encountering, anti-government whittle-blowing protestors in Songkhla because she visits the province to work for the public. Earlier, Interior Charupong Ruangsuwan assessed that the forthcoming mobile Cabinet meeting in Songkhla could be canceled if the meeting would cause political strife in the area, urging supporters of the opposition camp to take into account public and national interests, as the upcoming mobile Cabinet meeting has its main purpose of considering a 500-million-budget for local people.
