PM:Thailand is pleased to become friend with all nations

BANGKOK, April 9 (TNA) - Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha says that Thailand is pleased to be a good friend of all nations. Prime Minister General Prayut told journalists on Thursday he had informed his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev that the Thai government is pleased to welcome and to become a good friend with all countries without any discrimination. The prime minister stressed that Thailand has never downgraded relations with any country. The Thai leader noted that the United States and European countries have maintained their investment projects in Thailand. The Thai prime minister also quoted his Russian counterpart as thanking Thailand for warm reception during his official visit to the Thai Kingdom, scheduled for April 7-8, making him the first Russian prime minister to have visited Thailand over the past 25 years.
