Police Chief: Iran Pioneering Anti-narcotics Operations In World

Tehran, Nov 7, IRNA – Iran’s Anti-Narcotics Police Chief Ali Moayedi said Iran is presently the pioneer of anti-narcotics operations in the world. He stressed that fighting drugs trafficking is not limited to the borders of the country now. Making the remark in a meeting with the head of the Nigerian Police chief here on Wednesday, he noted that Iran possesses the biggest data bank in the region on anti-narcotics activities and has the largest training center of drugs-detecting dogs. Referring to rich experiences of Iranian anti-narcotics police, he also said that Iran is cooperating with over 40 world countries on the issue./end
