Police seize 3.5 million meth pills

NAKHON SAWAN, Nov 21 (TNA) - About 3.5 million methamphetamine pills are seized from a truck abandoned by smugglers attempting to transport the illicit drug through Nakhon Sawan province, Thai police say. Two men on a pick-up truck failed to stop at a police checkpoint steering the vehicle away. The suspicious act prompted police and troops to launch a pursuit. The vehicle was later found left on roadside as the smugglers apparently fled the scene. Police inspected the car and found 3.5 million tablets of meths as well as 50 kilograms of crystal meth and 50 kilograms of ketamine. (TNA)
