Policemen awarded new ranks

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the 92nd anniversary of foundation of the police organization, state prizes and ranks have been awarded to some policemen and servicemen pursuant to a decree of the State Head, the Minister of Justice and head of the General Police Department (GPD). The Order of Military Merit has been awarded to Lieutenant-Colonel B.Ariunbold, head of a section at the Criminal Police Department; Captain S.Bulgantamir, a coordinator at the Police Section of Bayanzurkh district; and others. The Polar Star Order has been awarded to G.Myagmarjav, a cook at the #805 military unit. The Military Medal of Honor went to nine servicemen. By an order of the GPD head, the police rank of colonel has been awarded to R.Monkhbayar, an acting head of a section at the Traffic Police Department and other nine policemen. Ten policemen were awarded the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and three policemen were given the rank of captain.
