Political factors do not affect work on deal on Turkish Stream - Gazprom CEO

ST. PETERSBURG, October 7. /TASS/. No political factors negatively affect work on an intergovernmental agreement with Turkey on the Turkish Stream gas pipeline, Russian state-controlled energy giant Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller told journalists. "Work to draft the text [of the intergovernmental agreement] is ongoing. No factors affect this work," Miller said when asked whether the situation in Syria will affect the drafting of the intergovernmental deal. Russia’s Aerospace Forces started delivering pinpoint strikes at facilities of the Islamic State terrorist organization in Syria on September 30. The air group comprises over 50 aircraft and helicopters, including Su-24M, Su-25 and state-of-the-art Su-34 aircraft. Dozens of terrorist facilities have been attacked by Russian aircraft over the past few days. Read more
