Postage stamp marking centenary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic issued in Ukraine

Kyiv, May 17, AZERTAC A postage stamp marking the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic has been issued in Ukraine, advisor of the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv Vusal Suleymanov has told AZERTAC. “The postage stamps are released in four types and depict the parliament building of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the parliamentary session and the granting of suffrage to women for the first time in the East,” he added. The postage stamps are issued with a circulation of 2,000 copies.
